북한과 러시아, 북한은 전쟁을 할수 있을까? - North Korea and Russia, can North Korea go to war?

최근 북한과 러시아의 밀담, 무기 거래, 연합 훈련에 대한 이야기가 이슈가 되고 있다.

이것이 의미하는 것은 무엇일까?

사실, 북한과 러시아와의 이런 관계는 그리 놀라운 사실이 아니다.

다만 러시아가 우크라이나와 전쟁중이며, 북한이 미사일 시험 수위를 높이는 가운데 수면위로 등장한 무기 거래에 대한 이야기가 돋보일 뿐이다.

북한과 러시아의 이러한 거래는 사실 오래되어 왔다. 그동안 우리가 몰랐을 뿐이랄까.

북한이 연간 러시아에 파견하는 노동자의 수만 생각해봐도 이들의 관계는 매우 오래 돈독하게 유지되어 오고 있다.

러시아 노동자로 파견되었다가 탈북한 노동자의 말을 들어보면, 이들은 어쩌면 중국보다도 더 형제같은 관계를 유지해 오고 있었다.

중국을 형님의 나라라고 친다면 러시아는 형제의 나라라고 볼수 있을지도 모르겠다.

In fact, this relationship between North Korea and Russia is not surprising.
However, stories about arms deals that have surfaced while Russia is at war with Ukraine and North Korea is stepping up its missile tests stand out.
This deal between North Korea and Russia has actually been around for a long time.

It's just that we didn't know until now.
Considering the number of workers North Korea dispatches to Russia each year, their relationship has been maintained for a very long time.
If you listen to the words of the workers who were dispatched as Russian workers and then defected from North Korea, they have maintained a brotherly relationship perhaps even more than that of China.
If China is regarded as an older brother's country, Russia may be regarded as a brother's country.

북한에서 자랑하는 잠수함 기술은 거의 모두 러시아에서 온 것이라 볼 수 있다.

세계적 박람회인 러시아 잠수함 전시회에 북한도 참석하고 있다는 것은 알만한 사람들은 아는 사실이다. 

다만, 이러한 것들을 거시적으로, 그리고 표면적으로 드러낸 것은 조금 다른 의미를 가진다고 볼수 있다.

그만큼 중국, 북한, 러시아가 미국, 한국, 일본의 공동체에 대해 위화감을 느낀다는 의미일 것이다.

불안함을 크게 느낄수록 북한의 대외적인 행보는 강해진다.

이것은 두가지 의미를 가진다.

1. 외부에 자신들의 존재를 알리고 그 위치를 견고히 하고자 하는 것

2. 불안한 민심, 내부 결속을 위함이다.

It is known to those in the know that North Korea is also participating in the Russian Submarine Exhibition, a world-class exhibition.
However, it can be seen that revealing these things macroscopically and superficially has a slightly different meaning.
That would mean that China, North Korea, and Russia feel uncomfortable with the community of the United States, South Korea, and Japan.
The greater the sense of insecurity, the stronger North Korea's external moves.
This has two meanings.
1. To announce their existence to the outside world and to solidify their position
2. It is for uneasy public sentiment and internal solidarity.

 

그렇다면 이러한 북한이 전쟁을 일으킬 가능성은 얼마나 될까?

그들은 정말 전쟁을 할 수 있을까?

나는 이 부분에 대해, 북한이라면 '가능성이 있다'고 말하고 싶다.

그리고 지금처럼 대외적 행보를 강하게 하는 것은 그들이 무엇인가 확고한 위치를 차지하고 어떠한 액션을 위한 준비를 하는 것이라고 볼수 있을 것이다.

미사일 시험을 계속 함을 물론, 러시아, 중국과 그 결속을 다지면서 어느 정도의 가능성을 점쳐보고 있다는 생각이 든다.

핵무기를 사용하는 것은 자멸하는 길이라는 것을 그 누구보다도 잘 알고 있다.

하지만 장기전으로 가고 있는 러시아와 우크라이나의 전쟁을 보면서 북한은 자신들의 전쟁가능성과 승리 가능성을 점쳐보고 있는 것인지도 모른다.

이에 대해, 한국은, 미국은 얼마나 실질적인 준비를 하고 있는지 돌이켜봐야 한다.

물론 연합 훈련을 통해 많은 부분을 준비하고 있지만, 북한과 러시아에 비해 턱없이 부족한 잠수함, 그들의 전략에 말려들지 않도록 주의해야 한다.

다음 북한의 전략은 잠수함을 이용한 제주도, 부산에서 시작될 것이다.

그리고 서해 5도, 교동도를 자신의 땅으로 함락하는 것, 그것이 그들의 전략지가 될 것이다.

그들이 보여주는 '쇼'에 속아서는 안된다. 

항상 그들이 보여주는 것과 실제 그들이 원하는 것은 다르다는 것.

반드시 명심하고 전략을 세워야 한다.

 

Then, how likely is it that North Korea will start a war?
Can they really go to war?
Regarding this part, I would like to say that there is a 'possibility' in North Korea.
And strengthening their external moves like now can be seen as taking a firm position and preparing for some action.
As well as continuing the missile test, I feel that we are foreseeing the possibility to some extent while strengthening the solidarity with Russia and China.
They know better than anyone that using nuclear weapons is a path to self-destruction.
However, looking at the long-term war between Russia and Ukraine, North Korea may be predicting its own possibility of war and victory.
Regarding this, South Korea and the United States should look back on how much practical preparation they are making.
Of course, we are preparing a lot through joint training, but we must be careful not to get involved in their strategy, which is far less than North Korea and Russia.
North Korea's next strategy will start from Jeju Island and Busan using submarines.
And capturing the 5 islands of the West Sea and Gyodong Island as their own land would be their strategic location.
Don't be fooled by their 'show'.
That there is always a difference between what they show and what they actually want.
You have to keep that in mind and strategize.

 

그들이 무기를 거래하는 것은 오랜된 일이다.

새로운 시작이나 아주 대단한 전략이 아니다.

하지만 이것을 수면 위로 꺼냈다는 것에 초점을 맞추고, 그들이 진정 무엇을 말하려고 하는지 들여다 볼때가 아닌가 싶다.

 

Their trade in weapons is a thing of the past.
It's not a new start or a great strategy.
But I think it's time to focus on the fact that they brought this to the surface and look into what they are really trying to say.
