Flushing in New York 뉴욕 East River를 건너 Queens로 가면 Flushing 이라는 곳이 있다. 사실 플러싱은 최초 한인들이 코리아 타운을 시작한 곳이기도 하다. 원래 한인타운이라 불렸던 이곳이 이제는 차이나 타운을 이루고 있다. 지하철을 내리면 여기가 미국인지 의심이 들 정도로 그냥 '중국'이다. 나도 처음 플러싱에 가보고 중국에 온 건 아닌지 착각할 정도였다.
