오늘 소개할 레스토랑은 맨하탄  148 W 67th St, New York, NY 10023에 위치한

'Old John's Luncheonette' 이다.

사실 미국 음식이 무엇이냐고 하면 딱히 떠오르는 음식이 없지만,

이런 음식점에 가게 되면 '아, 이게 미국 식당이지' 하는 생각이 든다.

Actually, when you ask what American food is, there is no food that comes to mind.
When I go to a restaurant like this, I think, “Oh, this is an American restaurant.”

 

 

먹음직스러운 햄버거, 그리고 디저트로 주문한 초코 조각케잌, 그리고 다크초컬릿 소다까지..

완벽한 한끼이다.

미국의 햄버거는 기본적인 크기가 크기 때문에 한끼로 충분하다.

패티도 두껍고 한국의 비싼 수제버거를 연상시킨다.

 

Delicious hamburgers, chocolate cake pieces for dessert, and drinks...
It's a perfect meal.
American hamburgers are usually large, so they are enough for one meal.
The patty is thick and reminds me of expensive homemade burgers in Korea.

 

이 외에도 전통 미국 홈푸드라고 할수 있는 많은 메뉴들이 있다.나는 개인적으로 이런 미국 음식들을 좋아하는데,

미국적인 음식을 맛 보고 싶을땐 이 레스토랑을 방문하는 것도 좋을 듯 하다.
