세계에서 유일한 분단 국가(The only divided country in the world)

대한민국, 남한과 북한은 세계에서 유일하게 남아있는 분단 국가이다.

아픈 이야기이기도 하지만, 사실이다.

7.27 북한은 전승기념일을 앞두고 미사일을 쉴새 없이 쏘고 있다.

며칠 전 미국 합참 의장이 한반도는 며칠 내라도 전쟁이 가능한 곳이라는 말을 했다. 

틀린 말은 아니라고 생각된다.

그것은 고체연료로 쏘아올리는 핵미사일이 가능해졌기 때문이다.

고체연료의 성공은 많은 의미를 가지고 있다.

잘 모르는 사람들은 여느 때처럼 북한이 단순히 미사일을 쏘면서 시위를 한다고 생각할 수 있지만,

그렇지 않다. 

고체연료는 이야기가 달라진다.

북한은 반세기가 넘도록 핵무기 개발에만 몰두해왔다.

그리고 그동안 액체 연료로 인한 어려움으로 한번 미사일을 발사하려면 며칠씩 시간이 걸리고 미사일을 이동시켜야 했다.

그래서 한국이나 미국에서 알아채기가 쉬었다.

하지만, 고체연료가 완성됨으로써 이제 어디든, 언제든 마구 쏠 수 있는 기술이 개발된 것이다.

그야말로 미사일이 업그레이드 되었다는 의미이다.

그래서 최근에는 우리가 모르는 사이에도 기습적으로 미사일을 쏘고 있다.

또한 러시아와 우크라이나 전쟁을 보면서 끊임없이 학습하고 있다.

평화를 외치고 방관하는 한국과 달리 그들은 이들의 전쟁을 통해 자신들의 승리 가능성을 점치고 있다.

군대의 크기, 인원, 미사일, 잠수함, 드론 등 북한은 한국보다 월등히 많은 전쟁자산을 가지고 있다.

한국은 미국이 도와주지 않으면 아무것도 할수 없는 구조를 가지고 있다.

미국 합참의장의 말을 뼈깊이 듣고 대비할 필요가 있다.

잠수함 기술은 그 어느 곳 보다 뛰어나다.

그리고 그들은 러시아, 중국을 통해 기술을 교류하고 업그레이드 시키고 있다.

그들이 쓰는 장비가 북한 것이라고 착각하면 안된다.

금지물품인데도 불구하고 그들은 일제, 미제, 유럽, 이슬람까지 모든 유통구조를 암암리에 가지고 있고 활용하고 있다.

우리가 생각하는 것, 알고 있는 것 이상으로 '항상 준비' 하고 있다는 것을 잊어서는 안된다.

그들의 구호 중에 '항상 준비'가 있다.

그들은 어느 때고 총을 들고 싸울 수 있게 온 인민이 준비되어 있다.

그 어떤 기술도, 그 어떤 전략도 '항상 준비' 되어 있는 자들을 이길수 있을까?

지금은 전승절을 앞두고 미사일을 쏘는 것이라 생각할수 있지만,

절대로 6.25를 잊어서는 안된다. 

휴일 새벽에 기습, 이것이 그들의 전략이었다.

그리고 우리는 분단도 진정한 분단이 아닌, 아직 '휴전 중'이라는 사실을 잊어서는 안된다.

이전에는 북한이 전쟁이 발발하면, 북한이 사라질 것이라는 두려움에 쉽사리 기습하지 못했다면,

지금은 그렇지 않을 것이라 판단할 수 있다.

핵무기라는 강력한 공격과 방어가 있기 때문이다.

그리고 러시아, 중국이라는 배경을 가지고 세계 제 3차 대전으로의 발발까지 생각하고 있을지도 모를 일이다.

조금은 더 심각하게, 그리고 진정 그들을 대비해서 우리가 무엇을 할수 있을지 고민했으면 좋겠다.

그리고 월북한 미군이 어떤 정보를 가지고 있는지, 미국은 반드시 철저히 조사해서 이를 대비해야 할 것이다.

그가 알고 있는 그 어떤 것이든 그들은 탈탈 털어서 수집하고 말 것이다.
