Jollibee - Chicken

오늘 소개할 곳은 Jollibee 라는 치킨 전문점이다.

사실 미국에서 한국인 입맛에 맞는 치킨을 찾기가 힘들다.

왜인지 모르겠지만 미국식 치킨들은 너무 짠 경우가 많다.

아니면 특유의 시즈닝으로 한국인들이 생각하는 한국식 치킨을 찾아볼 수가 없다.

 

The place I will introduce today is a chicken specialty restaurant called Jollibee.
In fact, it is difficult to find chicken that suits Korean tastes in the United States.
I don't know why, but American chicken is often too salty.
Otherwise, you cannot find the Korean-style chicken that Koreans think of due to its unique seasoning.

 

친구의 소개로 알게된 Jollibee는

지나다니면서 본 적은 있지만 들어가 보지는 않았는데,

이날 처음으로 먹어보게 되었다.

스파이시를 시켰지만, 짜지 않은 점이 가장 좋았다.

적절히 매우면서 계속해서 당기는 맛이 매력적이었다.

그리고 튀김옷도 바삭하고 좋았다.

한국식 치킨과 비슷하면서도 미국식이 접목된 맛있는 치킨이었다.

 

I learned about Jollibee through a friend’s recommendation,
I saw there in passing but never went in.
I tried it for the first time that day.
I ordered it spicy, but I liked it best because it wasn't salty.
The taste that continued to linger while being properly seasoned was attractive.
And the batter was crispy and good.
It was delicious chicken similar to Korean chicken but with an American twist.

 

곁들여진 소스는 약간 카레와 같은 맛이지만 강하지 않은,

매운맛을 중화시켜주는 맛이었다.

매일 지나다보면 줄이 길게 늘어져 있었는데, 

그 이유를 알것 같았다.

한국식 페리카나, 그리고 BBQ치킨도 있긴 하지만, 

가격대가 확실히 다르다.

미국식 치킨이지만 한국과 같은 느낌으로 먹고 싶다면

Jollibee 치킨을 권하고 싶다.

 

The accompanying sauce has a slightly curry-style but is not strong.
It was a taste that neutralized the spicy taste.
Every day I passed by, there was a long line.
I thought I knew why.
There is also Korean-style Pelicana and BBQ chicken, but
the price range is definitely different.
It's American-style chicken, but if you want to eat it with a Korean feel,
I would like to recommend Jollibee chicken.
