미주리 세인트 루이스(St. Louis) 한국 음식 찾기 2

미주리 세인트 루이스에는 한국음식점이 많지 않다.

코리아 타운이 있는 것도 아니고 한국음식점이 어디 있는지 모르는 사람들도 많다.

나도 많이 가보진 못했지만 그래도 내가 가보고 자주 먹었던 식당을 소개해보고자 한다.

 

There are not many Korean restaurants in St. Louis, Missouri.
There is no Koreatown, and there are many people who do not know where Korean restaurants are.
I haven't been to many places, but I'd like to introduce a restaurant that I've been to and ate at often.

 

1. Joo Joo Restaurant - 12937 Olive Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63141

    이 곳은 아마 유일하게 노래방(Karaoke)가 같이 있는 식당인 듯 하다.

    시간 당 가격이 저렴하지는 않아서 가보진 않았지만, 그래도 유일하게 세인트 루이스에서 노래방이 같이 있는

    한국 전통식당이었던 것 같다.

    가장 한국식 입맛에 맞는 식당이었다. 불고기 전골, 삼겹살, 갈비, 오징어 볶음, 족발, 곱창까지.. 없는게 없다.

    내가 살던 곳에서는 거리가 좀 멀어서 자주가진 못했지만 그래도 정말 한국음식이 생각날 땐 자주 방문했다.

    디저트도 아이스크림부터 빙수까지, 매우 다양하다.

    세인트 루이스에서 한국식당을 찾고자 한다면 이곳이 가장 적당한 식당이 아닐까 싶다.

 

     This place seems to be the only restaurant with Karaoke.
     I didn't go Karaoke here because the price per hour wasn't cheap, but it's the only karaoke bar with a restaurant in St. Louis.
     It seems to be a traditional Korean restaurant.
     It was the most Korean-style restaurant. Bulgogi hotpot, pork belly, short ribs, stir-fried squid, pig's feet, and even ㅜgopchang.
     It's a bit far from where I lived, so I didn't go there often, but I still visited often when I really thought of Korean food.
     Desserts are also very diverse, from ice cream to shaved ice.
     If you are looking for a Korean restaurant in St. Louis, I think this is the most suitable restaurant.

 

 

 

2.  K- Bop STL - 6120 Delmar Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63112

     이곳은 학교에서 가깝고 Delivery가 되어서 자주 애용했던 가게이다.

     메뉴가 첫번째 한국식당만큼 다양하지 않지만, 간식거리, 한끼 대용으로 매우 괜찮았던 곳이다.

     특히 외국인들의 취향에도 잘 맞추어져있고 컵밥 형식으로 만들어져서 먹기가 매우 간편했다.

     떡볶이, 불고기 덮밥 등 간편하게 한끼를 즐길수 있다.

     트렌디한 식탁, 그리고 계속해서 틀어주는 K-pop 뮤직비디오는 한국을 알리기엔 매우 좋았다.

     다만 뮤직비디오가 좀 old 했다는게 아쉬웠다.

     

     This is a restaurant that I often used because it was close to school and delivered.
     The menu is not as diverse as the first Korean restaurant, but it is a very good place for a snack or a meal.
      In particular, it was well suited to the taste of foreigners, and it was very easy to eat because it was made in the form 

      of cup rice.
      You can easily enjoy one meal such as Tteokbokki and Bulgogi Rice Bowl.
      The trendy dining table and the K-pop music videos that keep playing were very good to promote Korea.
      However, it was a pity that the music video was a bit old.

 

3. 마지막으로 소개할 곳은 Korean BBQ chicken! -1334 Central Park Dr STE 6, O'Fallon, IL 62269

    사실 이곳은 세인트 루이스가 아니라 일리노이에 있다.

    가장 아쉬웠던 게 세인트루이스에는 한국식 치킨이 없었다는 점이다.

    내가 차리고 싶었을 정도로?

    한국식 치킨을 위해 한시간 거리인 일리노이까지 차를 타고 가는 수고를 해야 먹을 수 있었기에 더 맛있었다는?

    사실 미국음식 중에 가장 입맛에 맞기 어려운 것이 치킨 이었다.

    미국식은 너무 짜거나 기름지다. 

    한국식 치킨을 찾기가 왜이리 어려운 건지...

    아무튼 BBQ 치킨을 먹기위해서는 일리노이로 가야 했다. 

    그래도 한국식 치킨은 역시 최고 라는 것! 

 

     In fact, this is not St. Louis, but Illinois.
     The most regrettable thing was that there was no Korean-style chicken in St. Louis.
     As much as I wanted to operate the store?
     For Korean-style chicken, I had to go to Illinois, an hour away, to eat it, so it tasted better.
     In fact, among American foods, chicken was the most difficult to suit one's taste.
     American food is too salty or greasy.
     Why is it so hard to find Korean-style chicken...
     Anyway, I had to go to Illinois to eat BBQ chicken.
     Still, Korean chicken is the best!
