Forest Park in St. Louis

미주리 세인트 루이스에는 미주리 주를 대표하는 Forest Park가 있다.

세인트 루이스에 방문한다면, 1. 아치, 그리고 2. Forest Park 일 것이다.

내가 알기론 미국을 통틀어서 주를 대표하는 공원중 그 면적이 가장 넓은 것으로 알고 있다.

In St. Louis, Missouri, there is Forest Park, which represents the state of Missouri.
If you visit St. Louis, it will be 1. Arch and 2. Forest Park.
As far as I know, it has the largest area among parks representing states throughout the United States.

수 개의 골프장, 보트를 탈수 있는 호수와 분수대, 다양한 피크닉장과 산책로, 동물원까지..

정말 대자연을 만끽할수 있는 곳이다.

학교들은 이곳에서 많은 피크닉, 파티를 열기도 한다.

보트를 탈때는 날씨가 좋을때도 좋지만, 그럴땐 반드시 모자나 양산을 챙겨야 한다는 것..

그늘이 없어서 타고나서 후회할수 있다.

1시간과 2시간을 선택할수 있는데, 호수가 얼마나 넓은지 1시간이 빠듯하다.

그래도 한번쯤 정말 탈볼 만한 보트..보트를 타다보면 거위와 오리가족을 만날수 있다. 

빵조각 같은 것을 들고가면 보트 주위로 오는 아이들에게 간식거리를 줄 수 있다. 
경험이 있어서 그런지 우리가 나타나면 아이들이 모여든다.

나는 2년간 한 4-5회는 탔다. 봄 가을의 경치는 정말 환상적이다.

카누도 있고 스탠딩 보트도 있고 여러가지 중에서 선택할수 있지만, 생각보다 깊은 호수에 나는 안전한게 일반적이 보트를 선택했다.

Several golf courses, boating lakes and fountains, various picnic areas and walking trails, and even a zoo...
It is a place where you can truly enjoy the great outdoors.
Schools also hold many picnics and parties here.
When riding a boat, it is good when the weather is good, but in that case, you must bring a hat or parasol.
There is no shade, so you may regret burning your face after riding it.
You can choose between 1 hour and 2 hours, but 1 hour is tight due to how wide the lake is.
Definitely, it's a boat worth riding at least once.
You can meet a family of geese and ducks while riding a boat. If you bring something like a piece of bread, you can give a snack to the children who come around the boat.
Perhaps because of their experience, when we appear, they gather near our boat.
I rode it 4-5 times in 2 years. The scenery in spring and fall is really fantastic.
There are canoes and standing boats, and you can choose from a variety of options, but I chose the general boat

because it is safer for the lake which is deeper than I thought.

 

나는 Forest Park를 정말 좋아한다. 그냥 보고만 있어도 평온해지는 광경에 저절로 힐링이 된다.

세인트 루이스에 간다면 아치와 포레스트 파크는 필수 코스이다.

I really like Forest Park. Even just looking at it, you will be naturally healed by the peaceful sight.
If you go to St. Louis, Arch, and Forest Park are must-sees.
