미국의 야구 사랑은 한국과 비교가 안된다.

한국도 야구에 대한 관심과 사랑이 많지만, 미국은 하나의 문화로 자리잡은지 오래다.

미주리 세인트 루이스를 대표하는 팀은  "Cardinals" 이다.

내가 경기를 보러 갈때만 해도 김광현 선수가 이 팀에 있어서 한국사람들도 응원하러 많이 오곤 했다.

지금은 한국으로 복귀했지만..

세인트 루이스의 카디널스 사랑은 유별나다.

옷부터 다양한 굿즈에, 야구장에서 유니폼을 나눠주는 서비스까지..

그 덕분에 나도 유니폼을 두개나 얻었다.

야구장의 묘미는 또한 먹거리, 미국 다운 햄버거, 피자, 칩스, 또띠아 등 다양한 간식거리와 다양한 맥주..

정말 즐길 거리가 다양하다.

그리고 마치 가족들이 소풍을 나온 듯한 가족적인 분위기, 이 또한 한국과는 좀 다른 풍경이다.

치어리더가 없어도 전광판으로 모든 응원을 유도하고 분위기를 주도하는 문화 또한 색다르다.

그리고 중간중간 게임과 카메라를 비추면 키스를 해야 하는 키스 타임 역시, 야구장의 묘미이다.

나는 어릴때 부터 아버지를 따라 야구장을 많이 다녔다.

야구는 또 하나의 나의 취미이기도 하다. 

9회말 투 아웃까지 승리를 가늠하기 어려운, 역전의 드라마를 만들어 낼수 있는 야구..

나는 그래서 야구가 좋다.

시간 제한이 없어서 지루할 수 있지만 야구의 룰을 익히고 나면 그만큼 재미난 것도 없다.

인생은 야구와 비슷한 것 같다.

세인트 루이스에 간다면 야구는 필수!

There are really many things to enjoy.
And the family atmosphere, as if the family had gone on a picnic, is also a bit different from Korea.
Even without a cheerleader, the culture of inducing all cheers and leading the atmosphere with an electronic signboard is also different.
And the kissing time, when you have to kiss when the camera is spotlighted on you, is also the fun of the baseball stadium.
Also,  you can catch the foul ball if your seat were a good place for that.
Since I was young, I have been to many baseball fields with my father.
Baseball is another hobby of mine.
Baseball can create a drama of reversal, where it is difficult to determine victory until the bottom of the 9th inning with two outs..
I like baseball that way.
It can be boring because there is no time limit, but once you learn the rules of baseball, nothing is as fun.
Life seems to be like baseball.
