김밥! -Kimbap!

트레이더 조에서 인기가 너무 많아 품절된 냉동 한국 김밥!

나도 몇번 시도했지만 결국 트레이더 조에서 더 이상 한국 김밥을 보기는 어려웠다.

하지만 아파트 밑에 있는 Gracefully store의 한국인 매니저 님 덕분에 한국 김밥을 만날수 있었다.

$6.99라는 사악한 가격이지만, 그래도 충분히 그 값어치를 하는 듯 하다.

 

Frozen Korean Gimbap is so popular at Trader Joe's that it's sold out!
I tried it a few times, but in the end, it was difficult to find Korean kimbap at Trader Joe's anymore.
However, thanks to the Korean manager of the Gracefully store below my apartment, I was able to taste Korean gimbap.
Although it is a wicked price of $6.99, it still seems well worth it.

 

 

껍질을 벗기면 아래와 같이 되어 있다.

급랭 기법이라는 이름답게 정말 꽁꽁 얼어 있다.

나는 그릇에 따로 담아 전자렌지에 돌렸고,

수분이 생기지 않게 아무것도 덮지 않았다.

2분을 돌렸는데, 정말 완벽했다.

진짜 갓 지은 밥으로 김밥을 싼듯한 느낌이었다.

속재료는 단무지, 우엉, 당근, 불고기, 그리고 쪽파와 비슷한 채소가 들어있다.

아마도 냉동과 보관이라는 이유 때문에 상할수 있는 음식은 피한 듯 했다.

그래서 계란은 없다.

하지만 충분히 맛있었다.

자주 먹기엔 가격이 부담스럽지만,

그래도 한국식 김밥이 생각날 때 간편하게 사먹을 수 있을 것 같다.

 

I put it in a separate bowl and put it in the microwave.
It was not covered with anything to prevent moisture from forming.
I ran it for 2 minutes and it was perfect.
It felt like the kimbap was made with really freshly cooked rice.
The fillings include pickled radish, burdock, carrots, bulgogi, and chives and other similar vegetables.
They probably avoided perishable food for reasons of freezing and storage.
So there are no eggs.
But it was delicious enough.
Although it is expensive to eat often,
Still, I think I can easily buy it when I feel like Korean-style kimbap.
