MOMA - UNIQLO Nights

오늘은 맨하탄의 대표적인 미술박물관인 MOMA 를 소개하고자 한다.

NYC 거주자는 매달 첫번째 금요일 저녁에 무료로 관람을 즐길수 있다.

'UNIQLO Nights' 이라고 불리는 이 날은 일반 박물관 관람과는 사뭇다르다. 

음악과 바, 그리고 많은 비디오 아트와 공연이 펼쳐진다.

 

Today, I would like to introduce MOMA, a representative art museum in Manhattan.
NYC residents can enjoy free admission on the first Friday evening of every month.
These days, called ‘UNIQLO Nights’, are quite different from regular museum visits.
There will be music, bars, and lots of video art and performances.

 

 

총 6층으로 이뤄진 이곳은 일반 박물관보단 매우 팝한 갤러리 느낌이다.

금요일 저녁, 칵테일을 즐기면서 예술에 젖어보는 것도 좋을 듯 하다.

피카소, 반 고흐 등 세기적 작가들의 작품도 볼수 있고,

그림을 그리는 것에 취미가 있다면 직접 그려볼 수 있는 공간이 있다.

이 곳에서 그림을 그리면 다음에 언제든 무료로 관람할 수 있는 티켓을 준다.

 

This place, which has a total of 6 floors, feels more like a pop gallery than an ordinary museum.
On a Friday evening, it might be a good idea to immerse yourself in art while enjoying a cocktail.
You can also see works by century-old artists such as Picasso and Van Gogh.
If you have a hobby of drawing, there is a space where you can draw.
If you draw a picture here, you will receive a ticket to view it for free any time next time.
