Happy Halloween!

미국에서는 할로윈이 매우 의미있다.

한국에서의 할로윈은 이제 악몽의 트라우마가 되어 버렸지만, 

미국에서는 모든 사람들이 행복하게 즐길수 있는 행복한 날이다.

할로윈은 역사를 제대로 알고 이를 제대로 즐긴다면 모든 사람이 행복한 날이 될수 있을텐데..

한국에서 퇴색되어버린 의미가 아쉽다.

 

Halloween is very meaningful in America.
Halloween in Korea has now become a nightmare trauma,
In America, it is a happy day that everyone can enjoy happily.
Halloween can be a happy day for everyone if we know its history properly and enjoy it properly.
It is a pity that its meaning has faded in Korea.

 

하지만 미국에서의 할로윈은 정말 아름답고 모두가 행복한 축제의 장이다.

특이 아이들에게는 많은 사람들로부터 따듯함을 받을 수 있는 날이기도 하다.

악귀를 피하기 위해 그러한 분장을 하고 아이들은 동네를 돌면서 이웃들과 웃음을 나눈다. 

'trick or treat' 이라고 외치면서 한 가방 가득 초컬릿과 갖가지 캔디 등을 얻어온다.

 

However, Halloween in the United States is a truly beautiful and happy festival for everyone.
For children, it is also a day when they can receive warmth from many people.
Children dress up in such costumes to ward off evil spirits and go around the neighborhood laughing with their neighbors.
Shout out 'trick or treat' and get a bag full of chocolate and various candies.

 

뉴욕, 특히 맨하탄은 아파트들이 대부분이지만 할로윈 행사는 동일하다.

레스토랑과 가게들도 treat을 위한 준비를 하고 있다. 

학교들도 진심이다.

선생님들부터 정말 열심히 준비한 할로윈,

그 하루 만큼은 모두들 행복하게 웃음을 주고받는 날이된다.  

 

New York, especially Manhattan, is mostly apartments, but the Halloween events are the same.
Restaurants and stores are also preparing for treats.
The schools are also sincere.
The teachers worked really hard to prepare for Halloween,
That day becomes a day when everyone exchanges smiles happily.

한국도 미국처럼 본래의 의미를 잃지 않으면서 모두가 함께 정을 나눌수 있는 문화로 자리 잡았다면 얼마나 좋았을까?

마을의 축제처럼, 누구나 함께 나눌수 있는 날이 되었으면 좋았을텐데 그 문화가 다르게 받아들여져서 안타까울 따름이다.

미국에서는 할로윈부터 크리스마스, 그리고 새해까지 그 장식과 축제분위기가 계속해서 이어진다.

연말을 정말 따듯하게 보낼수 있는 시간이 아닐까싶다.

미국의 이런 문화, 분위기는 정말 본받을 만 하다.

 

How great would it be if Korea, like the United States, established itself as a culture where everyone could share affection without losing its original meaning?
It would have been nice if it could have been a day that everyone could share, like a village festival, but it is a pity that the culture was received differently.
In the United States, decorations and a festive atmosphere continue from Halloween to Christmas and New Year.
I think this is a time to spend the end of the year in a really warm way.
America's culture and atmosphere are truly worthy of imitation.
