How is the culture of a country expressed?
10/29 Korean time.. 10:30 pm..
Itaewon, Seoul.
In the alley... we had a terrible accident.
Everyone wondered how this could happen.
Would the same accident have occurred in a country other than Korea?
It makes me think a lot about this question.

A nation's ethnicity and its characteristics can be seen in many places.
Especially when there is a big accident, I look back on the country.
The building didn't collapse.
Current time October 30th..154 people have died.
I don't think there have ever been so many deaths in an accident when a building collapses.
It's not a narrow space.. A road in the middle of downtown Seoul..
How could there be such a vain death?

What could have made them like this?

Small land, dense population.
In addition, it cannot be excluded that Korean culture incorporating crowd psychology shows a cross-section of such thinking.
As other countries shouted for an end to COVID-19, Korea became a country at risk of COVID-19.
What makes them that way?

Korea's food culture and nationality are not irrelevant to these accidents and diseases.
'Affection' and 'sharing', the food culture of sharing food, are virtues, but they are very vulnerable to infectious diseases.

Crowded people in a narrow land.
And crowd psychology..
As a single nation, Korea is internally divided.
Their attitudes are different and they act as one.

When someone takes the lead and misleads the crowd, there are many people who are swept away for no reason and without knowing anything.

The psychological factor created by the concept of 'we', which has grown as a nation, seems to be a big factor.
So, the most common mistake Koreans make abroad is to embarrass others by using 'Our' when the English expression should use 'My'.

When someone shouts 'push' or 'start', the psychological strength is sometimes, but it can lead to such accidents.

It is also a cross-section of Korea's unique 'Club Halloween' that has been transformed without knowing the exact meaning of 'Halloween'.
On the day you and I had to wear makeup and go to a drinking party, we mistakenly thought it was Halloween, and commercial selfishness mixed together, causing an irreversible accident.

In Korea, where the youth population is shrinking...
It's really sad that young people are dying.
