Cellar Dog Jazz Bar in Manhattan

오늘 소개할 곳은 75 Christopher St, New York, NY 10014에 위치한 "Cellar Dog" 이라는 Jazz bar이다.

이곳은 사실 단순한 Jazz Bar 라기엔 그 분위기가 많이 다르다.

각종 보드 게임, 탁구, 당구 등을 함께 할 수 있다.

 

The place I'm introducing today is a jazz bar called "Cellar Dog" located at 75 Christopher St, New York, NY 10014.
This place actually has a different atmosphere than a simple jazz bar.
You can play various board games, table tennis, billiards, etc.

 

지하로 내려가면, 입구에서 입장료를 내고 들어갈 수 있다.

매우 넓은 공간에 Bar 부터 각종 보드 게임장, 그리고 Jazz를 들을 수 있는 곳이 따로 있다.

다른 Bar와 달리 매우 많은 사람들로 붐비기도 하고 이색적인 분위기를 느낄수 있다.

 

If you go down to the basement, you can pay the entrance fee at the entrance and enter.
In a very large space, there is a bar, various board game rooms, and a separate place to listen to jazz.
Unlike other bars, it is often crowded with many people and you can feel a unique atmosphere.

 

 

한 가지 아쉬운 점은,

매우 넓지만 너무 많은 게임장과 사람들 때문인지, 공기가 좀 탁하다는 기분이 들었다.

그래서 그렇게 오랜시간 있기는 힘들었던 것 같다.

인근의 NYU 대학생들이 자주 오는 듯 했고,

많은 학생들이 함께 게임과 bar를 즐기기에는 매우 적합한 장소가 아닌가 싶다.

 

One thing that was disappointing was that,
It was very spacious, but the air felt a bit stuffy, perhaps because there were too many game rooms and people.
That's why it was hard to stay there for too long.
It seemed like students from nearby NYU often came,
and it seemed like a very suitable place for many students to enjoy games and bars together.
