Izakaya MEW in Manhattan

오늘 소개할 곳은 53 W 35th St, New York, NY 10001에 위치한 이자카야 'MEW' 이다.

이자카야라고 하면 저녁에 사람이 많을 것 같지만,

점심 때부터 손님들이 매우 붐볐다.

 

The place I'm introducing today is 'MEW', an izakaya located at 53 W 35th St, New York, NY 10001.
When you think of an izakaya, you might think there are many people in the evening,
but it was very crowded with customers from lunchtime.

 

 

이 곳은 두개 식당 사이 지하로 내려가 있어 처음에는 찾기가 힘들었다.

간판을 잘 확인하고 지하로 내려가면 식당이 있다.

 

This place is located in the basement between two restaurants, so it was hard to find at first.
Check the sign carefully and go down to the basement to find the restaurant.

 

 

 

오른쪽에는 칵테일만 즐길수 있는 바도 있다.

나는 점심시간에 갔지만 저녁에는 아마 바에 사람들이 많을 듯 했다.

 

There is also a bar on the right where you can only enjoy cocktails.
I went during lunch time, but I think the bar will be crowded in the evening.

 

이자카야다운 스시메뉴들과 일본식 에피타이저 메뉴들이 많이 있었다.

스시도 맛있었고 오코노미야키도 매우 맛있었다.

 

There were a lot of izakaya-style sushi menus and Japanese appetizer menus.
The sushi was delicious and the okonomiyaki was also very delicious.

 

 

다양한 칵테일 메뉴도 많이 있었다.

점심부터 다양한 칵테일까지 즐기기에 좋았던 이자카야,

다시 또 찾을 듯 하다.
