Silence Disco in Riverside Park - Pier 1

맨하탄 West Side 70th Street Hudson river 쪽으로 가면 Pier 1 이 있다.

이곳에서는 거의 매일 저녁 이벤트가 열린다. 

간단한 운동 등 요가 수업부터 댄스 파티까지 매우 다양하다.

어제는 "Silence Disco" 파티가 열렸다.

마치 클럽과 같은 분위기이지만 모두 해드셋을 하고 아무 소음도 만들지 않으면서 즐겁게 댄스파티를 즐길 수 있다.

 

If you go towards the Hudson river on 70th Street on the West Side of Manhattan, you will find Pier 1.
Events are held here almost every evening. 
There is a wide variety of activities, from simple exercise classes and yoga classes to dance parties.
Yesterday the "Silence Disco" party was held.
It has a club-like atmosphere, but everyone wears headsets and can enjoy a fun dance party without making any noise.

 

 

해드셋은 무료로 대여가 가능하다.

DJ가 총 세명이고, 해드셋 모드를 세 가지로 바꿀 수 있다.

빨간색, 파랑색, 그리고 초록색으로 자기가 원하는 음악을 들을 수 있다.

파티가 막바지로 갈수록 DJ가 한가지 색으로 바꾸기를 권유한다.

그리고 다같이 소리도 지르고, 마치 클럽과 같은 분위기를 만들었다.

정말 색다른 파티였다.

소음은 하나도 만들어내지 않지만, 누구나 다같이 행복한 파티,

이게 미국의 작은 행복이 아닐까 싶다.

 

Headsets can be rented for free.
There are a total of three DJs, and the headset modes can be changed to three.
You can listen to the music you want in red, blue, and green.
As the party nears its end, the DJ recommends changing to one color.
And we all shouted together, creating a club-like atmosphere.
It was a truly unique party.
A party that doesn't make any noise, but makes everyone happy,
I think this is America's little happiness.
