Street Market in Manhattan

오늘은 주말마다 열리는 맨하탄의 Street Market을 소개하려고 한다.

맨하탄 Street 곳곳에 차도를 폐쇄하고 다양한 Market이 열린다.

이 날은 세계 음식들이 매우 다양하게 소개되었다.

이 외에도 항상 각 나라들의 특별한 예술품, 장식품도 판매된다.

 

Today, I would like to introduce the Street Market in Manhattan, which is held every weekend.
Roadways are closed throughout Manhattan Street and various markets are opened.
On this day, a wide variety of foods from around the world were introduced.
In addition to this, special works of art and decorations from each country are always sold.

 

다양한 악세서리들도 있는데,

진짜 과일, 꽃을 말린 귀걸이 목걸이는 정말 인상적이었다.

 

There are also various accessories,
The earrings and necklaces made from real fruit and dried flowers were really impressive.

 

 

Turkey drum, Takoyaki, Taco, Pizza 등 미국, 일본, 중국, 멕시코, 이탈리아 등 다양한 나라의 음식들이 많이 있었다.

한국 음식은 없는게 조금 아쉬웠지만, 그래도 다양한 먹거리를 즐길수 있어 재미있었다.

한국 음식은 단가가 높아서 그런지 이러한 Street 축제에는 잘  등장하지 않는 듯 하다.

물론 따로 한국 음식을 선보이는 기간이 있긴 하지만,

그래도 이런 곳에서 떡볶이나 어묵 등 한국의 대표적 Street food를 판다면 얼마나 좋을까 하는 생각이 들었다.

 

There were a lot of foods from various countries such as the United States, Japan, China, Mexico, and Italy, including 

Turkey drum, Takoyaki, Taco, and Pizza.
It was a little disappointing that there was no Korean food, but it was still fun to enjoy a variety of foods.
Korean food doesn't seem to appear often at these street festivals, perhaps because the price is high.
Of course, there are separate periods when Korean food is served, but
Still, I thought how great it would be if a place like this sold representative Korean street foods such as tteokbokki and fish cakes.

 

거의 매주 즐길수 있는 Street Market,

맨하탄의 볼거리, 즐거움은 끝이 없다.
