American Museum of Natural History in NYC

오늘  소개할 곳은 맨하탄 200 Central Park West New York, NY 10024-5102에 위치한

"American Museum of Natural History" 이다.

영화 '박물관이 살아있다'의 배경이 되기도 했던 이곳은 정말 많은 관광객들이 드나든다.

아침 첫 시간에 가더라도 엄청난 줄을 서야 한다.

 

The place we will introduce today is located at 200 Central Park West New York, NY 10024-5102 in Manhattan.
It is the “American Museum of Natural History.”
There was a lot of background to the movie ‘Night at the Museum’.
Even if you go first thing in the morning, you have to wait in line.

 

 

미국 답게 정말 넓은 박물관의 크기에 한번 놀라고

그 안의 박제들도 정말 놀라울 정도로 많았다. 

사진으로 다 담지는 못했지만,

아이들에게는 정말 좋은 교육이 될 듯 했다.

 

I was surprised by the size of the museum, which is so large that it is typical of the United States.
The number of taxidermied animals inside was truly amazing. 
I couldn't capture it all in a photo,
It seemed like it would be a really good education for the children.

 

달에서 재는 체중계도 정말 신기했다.

뉴욕 거주자는 어떤 금액이든 기부만 하고 입장할 수 있지만,

우주 천제 관람 등 특별한 몇몇 관람관은 따로 일정 금액을 내야 한다.

하지만 그런 관람관들이 아니더라도 충분히 볼거리가 넘쳐났다는..

 

The scale on the moon was also really amazing.
New York residents can enter by donating any amount.
Some special attractions, such as the Space Heaven Tour, require a separate fee.
However, even without those viewing halls, there was plenty to see.

 

뉴욕 맨하탄을 관광한다면, 이 곳 박물관은 필수 코스가 아닐까 싶다.

If you are touring Manhattan, New York, I think this museum is a must.
