Food Gallary 32 in Manhattan

오늘 소개할 곳은 맨하탄 한인타운에 위치한 Food Gallary 32 이다.

이 곳은 한국의 Street Food, 코인노래방, 스티커 사진까지

한국인들에게 핫한 아이템들을 옮겨놓은 곳이기도 하다.

하지만 Covid-19 이후 코인노래방은 운영하고 있는지 잘 모르겠다.

 

The place we will introduce today is Food Gallery 32, located in Koreatown, Manhattan.
This place has Korean street food, coin karaoke, and even sticker photos.
It is also a place where hot items for Koreans are moved.
However, I am not sure if coin karaoke rooms are operating after Covid-19.

 

 

한 가지 아쉬운 점은,

한인타운이기 때문에 한국을 좀 더 살릴수 있는 한국 아이템이 더 많이 있으면 좋겠는데,

중국이나 일본음식도 많이 섞여 있다는 점이다.

차이나타운도 따로 있는데 굳이 그럴 필요가 있을까 싶다.

물론 장사를 하는 입장에서는 수익이 있어야 하기 때문에 어쩔수 없다지만,

좀 더 한국을 알릴수 있는 한국 음식들이 더 있으면 하는 것이 개인적인 바람이다.

 

One thing that is disappointing is,
Since it is a Korean town, it would be nice to have more Korean items to bring Korea to life.
There is also a lot of Chinese and Japanese food mixed in.
There is a separate Chinatown, but I wonder if there is a need for it.
Of course, from a business perspective, it is inevitable because there must be profit, but
My personal wish is that there are more Korean foods that can promote Korea more.

 

요즘에는 한인타운에 탕후루와 기념품 샵들이 더 많이 들어서고 있다.

하지만 완전히 한국적이라는 것이라 보기에는 아쉬운 것들이 많다.

뉴욕 코리아센터도 개관을 했다고 하는데, 아직 가보지 못했지만,

좀 더 한국적인 것들을 알릴수 있는 한인타운이 되면 좋겠다.

 

These days, more Tanghulu and souvenir shops are opening in Koreatown.
However, there are many things that are disappointing to see as being completely Korean.
It is said that the Korea Center in New York has also opened, but I have not been there yet.
I hope it becomes a Korean town where more Korean things can be known.
