Ice skating and Ice bumper cars in Manhattan!

겨울에 빠질 수 없는 것이 아이스 스케이팅이다.

미주리에도 아이스 스케이트장이 많이 있었지만, 맨하탄에는 곳곳에 아이스 스케이트 장이 매우 많다.

공원마다, Pier마다, 그리고 맨하탄의 가장 업타운부터 미드타운, 로어 맨하탄 까지 

아이스 스케이팅을 어디서든 즐길수 있다.

나는 아직 몇군데 가보지 못했지만, 일단 집에서 가까운 Wollman park Ice skating,

그리고 한인타운과 가까운 미드타운에 위치한 Bryant Park Ice skating을 가보았다.

 

Ice skating is something that cannot be missed in winter.
Although there were many ice skating rinks in Missouri, there were many ice skating rinks scattered throughout Manhattan.
From park to park, pier to pier, and from uptown Manhattan to midtown to lower Manhattan.
You can enjoy ice skating anywhere.
I haven't been to a few places yet, but first, I went to Wollman park Ice skating, which is close to my house.
And I went to Bryant Park Ice skating, located in Midtown, close to Koreatown.

각각의 특색이 있지만,

Wollman Park는 센트럴 파크 공원 내에 위치하고 있어 그 분위기가 사뭇 다르다.

공원 안에 위치해 센트럴 파크의 분위기를 그대로 느낄수 있다.

아이스 링크마다 이글루 쉼터 같은 곳을 이용할 수 있는데, 그 가격은 어마어마 하다.

일찌감치 포기해버렸지만, 아마 단체 가족 단위로 예약한다면 가능할 것 같다.

Bryant Park는 시내 한복판에 있고 크리스마스 장식을 파는 가게들이 모여있어

매우 산뜻한 분위기를 느낄수 있다.

정말 크리스마스의 모든 것을 느낄수 있는 곳이기도 하다.

이곳에는 특색있게 Ice bumper car도 있다.

그 아이디어가 남다르다.

각종 백화점과도 가깝고, 많은 사람들이 몰리는 까닭에 예약은 필수이다.

 

Bryant Park is in the center of town and has a collection of shops selling Christmas decorations.
You can feel a very refreshing atmosphere.
It is also a place where you can truly feel everything about Christmas.
There is also a unique ice bumper car here.
The idea is unique.
Because it is close to various department stores and attracts a lot of people, reservations are essential.

 

이외에도 락커펠러 센터의 아이스 스케이팅, 

월드 트레이드 센터의 아이스 스케이팅, 심지어 루프탑 아이스 스케이팅도 있다.

타지 않더라도 구경삼아 가볼 계획이지만, 

이렇게 많은 아이스 스케이팅장이 있다는 것에 새삼 놀랍다.

뉴욕, 특히 맨하탄은 확실히 겨울을 즐기기에 참으로 아름다운 곳이다.
