오늘 소개할 레스토랑은 퓨전 한국 레스토랑이다.
맨하탄 한인타운에 위치해 있지만, 조금 색다른 곳이다.
식당같이 생기지 않아서 한참 건물 주변을 돌다가 찾았다.
평범한 BBQ나 정통 한식과는 매우 다르다.
The restaurant I will introduce today is a fusion Korean restaurant.
Although it is located in Manhattan's Koreatown, it is a slightly different place.
It didn't look like a restaurant, so I walked around the building for a while before I found it.
It is very different from ordinary BBQ or authentic Korean food.
Red rice 막걸리를 주문했는데 다른 재료가 들어간 것이 아닌데 색이 매우 붉었다.
마치 오미자나 복분자 막걸리를 보는 듯 했다.
그 맛은 그렇게 특별하진 않았고 매우 걸죽하고 진했다.
호기심에 맛을 볼순 있지만, 솔직히 그렇게 특별한지는 잘 모르겠다.
다만 다른 막거리보다 도수는 조금 높았다. 10도를 조금 넘었다.
I ordered red rice makgeolli, and although it didn't contain any other ingredients, it was very red in color.
It was like looking at Schisandra chinensis or Bokbunja makgeolli.
The taste wasn't that special, it was very thick and rich.
I can taste it out of curiosity, but honestly, I'm not sure if it's that special.
However, the alcohol content was slightly higher than other makgeolli.
It was a little over 10 degrees.
육회는 좀 색달랐다.
다른 곳들의 육회보다 훨씬 더 상큼한 맛이 났는데 매실 때문이었다.
매실 장아찌가 군데군데 잘게 들어가 있었는데 그 식감과 맛이 좋았다.
매콤, 새콤, 달콤한 맛이 잘 어우러졌다.
육회는 추천하고싶은 메뉴였다.
The Yukhoe was a bit different.
It tasted much more refreshing than the raw fish from other places, and that was because of the plums.
There were small pieces of pickled plum in here and there, and the texture and taste were good.
The spicy, sour, and sweet flavors blended well together.
Yukhoe was a menu item I would like to recommend.
순대도 맛있었다.
순대는 다른 곳들과 크게 다르진 않았지만 소스와 무생채가 매우 잘 어울렸다.
The sundae was also delicious.
The sundae wasn't much different from other places, but the sauce and radish vegetables went very well together.
어복쟁반은 일반 한국 식당에는 없는 메뉴인데 이곳에 있었다.
국물이 너무 맛있었다.
수육도 매우 부드럽고 먹기 좋았다.
어복쟁반도 추천하고 싶은 메뉴이다.
The Eobok tray is not on the menu at regular Korean restaurants, but it was here.
The soup was so delicious.
The boiled pork was very tender and easy to eat.
The Eobok tray is also a recommended menu item.
그냥 일반적인 한국레스토랑이 좀 질린다면, 퓨전레스토랑인 이곳을 찾는 것도 괜찮을 듯 하다.
If you are a bit tired of regular Korean restaurants, it might be a good idea to visit this fusion restaurant.
