북한은 어떤 곳일까?
우리는 북한을 얼마나 이해하고 있을까?
노동당의 규칙은 무엇일까?

북한을 이해하기 전에 북한의 기반이 무엇인지부터 알아야 한다.
북한에서는 법 보다 '노동당 규율'이 더 상위 규정이라는 사실을 기억하고 이해해야 한다.
조선로동당의 규약은 김일성과 김정일을 역사화하고 김씨 일가가 북한을 유지하는 유일한 수단이다.
북한의 법이 어떤지 묻기 전에 먼저 노동당 규약을 살펴봐야 한다.

그 사이 노동당 규약이 개정되면서 '민족 해방 민주주의 과업을 수행한다'라는 내용이

'민족적 차원에서 사회의 자주적, 민주적 발전을 실현한다'는 문구로 대체됐다.

이것이 북한이 변한 것이라고 잘못 판단하는 사람들이 있다.

하지만 이것은 단지 그들의 언어를 다시 쓴 것에 불과하다.
노동당 규약은 북한의 정체성을 규정하고 북한이 나아가야 할 방향을 제시하고 있다.
북한의 생각을 읽으려면 매회 노동당 규약이 무엇을 말하려는지 분석하는 것이 매우 중요하다.
김정은은 자신이 '세련된' 지도자라고 믿고 있다.
그가 보여주는 이미지 중 몇 몇은 김정일의 이미지와 사뭇 다르다.
이는 3대 세습을 정당화하고 변화하는 세계에 발 맞추기 위한 김정은의 독특한 전략이다.
과연 김정은은 다른 사람인가? 절대..그렇지 않다.

진정으로 달라진 것이 아니라, 북한 정권을 더 오래 영위하기 위한 탁월한 전략일 수도 있다는 것이다.
딸과 함께 동행한 이설주, 그리고 국민의 생계를 살피듯 1호 행사에 참석하는 사람들의 모습.
사실 이는 김정일의 전행보와 크게 다르지 않다.
가족과 좀 더 많이 동행한다는 점만 빼면 말이다.

김정일은 복잡한 여자 관계를 갖고 있었다.

이 때문에 김정은은 항상 경쟁자를 의식해왔고,

어머니에 대한 그리움도 컸기 때문에 가족을 부양하는 가장의 모습을 보여주고 싶었을지도 모른다.
그리고 그렇게 계속해서 북한 주민들의 눈과 귀를 막고 절대 복종의 북한을 만들어가고 있다.

 

그가 바꾸는 작은 말들이 궁극적으로는 북한 정권을 더욱 공고히 하려는 의도라는 점을 잊어서는 안 된다.
그가 어린시절 해외 유학을 했다고 해서, 그가 다르게 생각한다고 착각하지 말아야 한다.

노동당 규약을 주의 깊게 봐야한다.
그들의 목표는 변하지 않았다.
김일성과 김정일이 이루고자 했던 핵무기 개발을 김정은은 누구보다 잘하고 있다.
더욱 잔인하고 더욱 무자비한 그는 북한을 더욱 그렇게 만들고 있다.
그들이 원하는 것은 남조선의 적화통일, 공산주의 통일을 넘어 세계로 나아가는 것입니다.
그들이 말하는 것은 그들 자신들만의 민주주의 이다.
우리는 이에 대해 다시 생각해봐야 한다.

Many of the images he shows are quite different from those of Kim Jong-il.
This is Kim Jong-un's unique strategy to justify his third-generation hereditary succession and keep pace with the changing world.

Indeed, Kim Jong-un is a different person. Never..

Their goals have not changed.
Kim Jong-un is doing better than anyone else in the nuclear weapons business that Kim Il-sung and Kim Jong-il wantedto achieve.
Crueler and more merciless, he is driving North Korea even more like that.
What they want is to go beyond the communist reunification of South Korea and advance into the world.
What they say is themselves, democracy...
