NJ - 토속촌 - To Sok Chon

뉴저지에는 한국 음식점이 매우 많다.

하지만 뉴저지는 개인차가 없으면 이동이 불편하다.

버스가 있긴 하지만 뉴저지에서 이동할 때는 대부분 개인차로 이동한다.

맨하탄에도 돼지국밥 집이 있지만, 

뉴저지에 방문하여 한국 돼지국밥 집을 방문해 보게 되었다.

'토속촌' 이라는 가게는  '부산국밥' 가게와 같은 사장님이 운영하고 있는데 

부산의 돼지국밥을 뉴저지에서 느낄수 있다. 

 

There are many Korean restaurants in New Jersey.
However, it is difficult to get around in New Jersey without a personal car.
Although there are buses, most people travel in New Jersey by private car.
There is a pork soup restaurant in Manhattan, too.
When I visited New Jersey, I got to visit a Korean pork soup restaurant.
The store called ‘Tosokchon’ is run by the same owner as the ‘Busan Gukbap’ store.
You can taste Busan’s pork soup in New Jersey.

 

 

마치 해장국을 연상시키는 해장 메뉴들,

그리고 미국에서 쉽게 먹을 수 없는 돼지국밥, 순대국밥 등이 주 메뉴이다.

얼큰한 맛을 위한 다대기, 부추 등 한국의 구수한 맛을 보기엔 완벽하다.

And the main menu items include pork soup and sundae soup, which are not easy to eat in the United States.
It is perfect for enjoying the savory taste of Korea, such as dadaegi and chives for a spicy taste.

 

국밥은 간편하지만 매우 든든한 한끼 메뉴이다.

특히 추운날은 따뜻한 국밥 한그릇이 너무 그립다.

미국 음식에는 그런 국밥같은 메뉴는 없는 것 같다.

비슷하다면, 수프류나 스튜 정도로 볼수 있을까.

이젠 익숙해 지려고 하지만 때론 한국의 구수한 국밥 맛이 그립다. 

 

Gukbap is a simple but very filling meal.
Especially on cold days, I really miss a bowl of warm soup.
There doesn't seem to be a menu like soup like that in American food.
If it's similar, can it be considered a soup or stew?
I'm trying to get used to it now, but sometimes I miss the taste of Korea's delicious soup.
