Bowl 360- Astoria in New York

오늘 소개할 장소는 아스토리아에 있는 볼링장이다.
맨하탄의 사악한 가격에 놀라서 아스토리아로 가보았는데 가격을 책정하는 방법이 달랐다.
물론 맨하탄보다는 저렴하지만, 맨하탄에서 거기까지 가야하는 교통비와 시간을 생각하면 어디가 더 나을지

고민이 되었다.

 

The place I will introduce today is a Bowl 360 in Astoria.
I was surprised by the outrageous prices in Manhattan, so I went to Astoria, but the method of setting prices was different.
Of course, it is cheaper than Manhattan, but considering the transportation cost and time it takes to get there from Manhattan, I was wondering which would be better.

맨하탄은 시간당 계산을 하고 아스토리아는 게임당 가격이 책정되었다.
솔직히 두 사람이 한 시간에 세 게임을 칠 수 있는 것을 감안하면,
주말 게임당 $15이라는 가격이 저렴하지는 않았다.
평일은 $10으로 확실히 저렴하지만,
한 시간이 넘게 버스와 지하철을 갈아타야만 하는 것도
맨하탄에 거주하는 나로서는 조금 지치는 여정이었다.

 

Manhattan charges per hour, while Astoria charges per game.
Honestly, considering that two people can play three games in one hour,
At $15 per weekend game, it wasn't cheap.
It is definitely cheaper at $10 on weekdays, having to change buses and subways for over an hour as someone who lives in Manhattan, it was a bit of a tiring journey.

맨하탄보다 훨씬 Lane이 많고 사람도 많았다.
하지만 시설은 확실히 맨하탄이 좋았다.
많은 사람과 Lane 탓에 어느 Lane은 볼이 모자라서 다른 자리에서 빌려야만 했다.
그래도 즐겁게 즐길수 있는 것은 두 곳 모두 같았다.
맨하탄도 평일 저녁에 특정 시간 이후는 무제한으로 즐길수 있다.

 

There were a lot more lanes and more people than in Manhattan.
But the facilities were definitely better in Manhattan.
Due to the large number of people and lanes, one lane ran out of balls and had to borrow from another spot.
Still, both places were equally fun to enjoy.
In Manhattan, you can enjoy unlimited entertainment after a certain time on weekday evenings.

볼링핀이 넘어질때의 경쾌한 소리와 그 쾌감, 이 때문에 볼링을 치게 되는 것 같다.
누구나 즐길수 있는 볼링!
강추하고 싶다!

The cheerful sound of the bowling pins falling and the feeling of pleasure, I think that's why I like to bowl.
Bowling that anyone can enjoy!
