LaGuardia High School에서 펼쳐지는 Rising Stars!

유명한 배우인 Timothée Chalamet 도 이 학교 졸업생으로,

Rising Stars에 뽑혀 공연을 했던 경험이 있다. 

앞서 포스팅 한 적이 있지만,

LaGuardia High School은 각종 학생들의 공연을 누구나 볼수 있게 오픈한다.

정말 그냥 학생들의 공연이라기 보단,

이미 배우들, 가수들의 공연과 같이 학생들의 장기가 대단하다.

이전에 아담스 패밀리 같은 경우, 톰크루즈의 딸 수리 크루즈가 참여하기도 했다.

수리 크루즈도 이 학교에 다니고 있다.

올해 졸업을 하게 되어 아쉽지만 말이다.

 

Rather than just a performance by students,
The students' talent is already amazing, as are the performances of the actors and singers.
In the case of the Addams Family, Tom Cruise's daughter Suri Cruise also participated.
Suri Cruz also attends this school.
It's a shame that she's graduating this year.

 

공립학교이지만, 유명한 배우, 가수, 및 아티스트들이 이 학교를 거쳐 갔다.

그 만큼 재능있는 학생들이 선호하는 역사있는 학교라고나 할까?

이 학교는 성적도 보지만 매해 오디션으로 학생들을 선발한다.

그 경쟁률 또한 높다.

전공분야마다 다르지만 공립임에도 불구하고 사립 못지 않은 인기를 누리고 있다. 

 

Although it is a public school, famous actors, singers, and artists have attended this school.
Can we say that it is a school with a history that is preferred by talented students?
This school not only looks at grades, but also selects students through auditions every year.
The competition rate is also high.
Although it varies depending on the field of study, it enjoys just as much popularity as the private sector despite being public.

 

그리고 이 학교의 위치도 한 몫 하는 것 같다.

바로 옆에 줄리아드 예술대, 링컨 센터를 비롯하여 각종 공연장이 밀집되어 있으니 말이다.

링컨 센터를 구경한다면 자연스레 이 학교도 볼수 있다.

한 번 쯤 브로드웨이까지 가지 않고도 미래의 브로드웨이 스타를 여기에서 만나보는 것은 어떨까 싶다.

 

And the location of this school also seems to play a role.
There are various performance venues concentrated right next to it, including the Juilliard School and Lincoln Center.
If you visit Lincoln Center, you can naturally see this school.
Information about various performances is provided on the school website.
I think it would be nice to meet future Broadway stars here at least once without having to go to Broadway.
