뮤지컬 시카고! - Musical Chicago

맨하탄에서는 언제든 다양한 뮤지컬을 즐길 수 있다.

특히 브로드웨이 week 주간에는 표 한 장 값으로 두 사람이 볼 수도 있다.

하지만 모든 뮤지컬에 해당되는 것은 아니다.

그래도 한국에서 비싼 가격으로만 볼수 있었던 것에 비하면 그렇게 부담스럽지 않게 관람할 수 있는게 사실이다. 

 

You can enjoy a variety of musicals at any time in Manhattan.
Especially during Broadway week, two people can see it for the price of one ticket.
However, this does not apply to all musicals.
Still, it is true that you can see it without much pressure compared to the expensive price you can see in Korea.

 

오늘은 뮤지컬 시카고에 대해 이야기 하고자 한다.

유명세 만큼이나 배우들의 열정적인 공연에 박수를 보내지 않을 수 없었다.

화려한 무대장치 보단, 오직 오케스트라와 배우들의 노래, 연기로 가득 채우는 무대였다. 

한 순간도 눈을 뗄수 없는 배우들의 춤과 노래는 정말 눈과 마음을 즐겁게 만들었다.

오랜 역사만큼이나  그 이야기는 지금시대에는 일어날 수 없을 법 하지만, 

스토리 안에 사랑, 희생, 그리고 시대적 배경과 흐름이 모두 들어 있었다.

 

Today I would like to talk about the musical Chicago.
As famous as it was, I couldn't help but applaud the actors' passionate performances.
Rather than a fancy stage setting, it was a stage filled only with the orchestra, the actors' songs, and their acting.
The dancing and singing of the actors, who could not take their eyes off them even for a moment, were truly a delight to the eyes and heart.
As long as history is, it is unlikely that that story could have happened in today's era,
The story contained love, sacrifice, and the background and flow of the times.

 

그리고 한국과 달리 미국의 뮤지컬 공연장에는 Bar가 있다.

따라서 간단한 칵테일이나 와인, 맥주도 공연중에 즐길 수 있다.

물론 공짜는 아니지만 말이다.

라이언 킹이나 다른 뮤지컬이 화려한 무대장치를 보여준다면, 뮤지컬 시카고는 정말 오로지 노출된 오케스트라와 배우들의 춤과 노래가 전부라고 할수 있었다.

그들의 열정을 오롯이 느끼고 싶다면 뮤지컬 시카고 관람도 멋진 추억이 될 것이다.

 

And unlike Korea, American musical theaters have bars.
Therefore, you can enjoy simple cocktails, wine, and beer during the performance.
Of course, it's not free.
While The Lion King or other musicals show splendid stage settings, Chicago the Musical is really all about the exposed orchestra and actors dancing and singing.
If you want to feel their passion, attending the musical Chicago will be a great memory.
