The Boy and the Heron

오늘 본 영화는 Hayao Miyazaki 감독의 "The boy and the Heron" 이다.

그의 작품답게 판타지한 요소들이 많이 녹아있다.

일본 특유의 감성과 스토리, 그리고 색채감과 음악, 그의 감성이 충분히 빛 발했다.

 

The movie I watched today is “The boy and the Heron” directed by Hayao Miyazaki.
As befits his work, it contains many fantasy elements.
His unique Japanese sensibility, story, color, and music fully shone through.

 

매번 볼 때마다 느끼는 점은 어떻게 그런 상상을 할 수 있을까였다.

도저히 그냥 상상해 보지는 못할 이야기들,

반전과 반전이 계속되는 탓에 눈을 뗄수가 없었다.

물론 애니메이션다운 판타지는 어디나 있지만,

그의 상상은 매우 독특한 듯하다.

 

What I thought every time I saw it was how could he imagine something like that.
Stories that I can't just imagine,
I couldn't take my eyes off the series because of the constant twists and turns.
Of course, animation-like fantasy is everywhere,
His imagination seems to be very unique.

 

영화를 보고나면 무엇인가 상상이 가득찬다.

세상 너머 다른 세상을 보고 온듯한 기분,

나의 감성도 매우 풍부해진 느낌이 든다. 

마음도 따듯해지는 영화, 일본 애니메이션,

그리고 Hayao Miyazaki 감독의 영화를 좋아한다면,

이 영화도 추천하고 싶다.

The feeling of seeing another world beyond the world,
