맨하탄 링컨 센터 - Lincoln Center

맨하탄 웨스트 사이드에 가면 예술의 도시임을 곳곳에서 느낄수 있다.

맨하탄, 그리고 뉴욕 전체가 패션, 예술의 도시임에는 틀림없지만, 이스트 사이드보다 웨스트 사이드로 가면 

각종 극장, 예술을 감상할 수 있는 갤러리 등이 많이 있다.

특히 센트럴 파크 근처에 위치한 링컨센터는 각종 공연, 그리고 평소에도 갤러리 같은 풍경을 항상 느낄 수 있다.

 

If you go to the West Side of Manhattan, you can feel that it is a city of art everywhere.
There is no doubt that Manhattan, and all of New York, is a city of fashion and art, but if you go to the West Side rather than the East Side,
There are many theaters and galleries where you can enjoy art.
In particular, Lincoln Center, located near Central Park, hosts various performances and always has a gallery-like scenery.

링컨센터 야외 공연장

365일 계속해서 볼 수 있는 작은 분수대, 작은 연못 같은 것이 곳곳에 있다.

인근에 위치한 레스토랑과 카테일 바도 분위기를 한층 더한다.

저녁에도 은은한 전등들이 그 분위기를 좋게 만들어 준다.

예술의 도시, 패션의 도시답게 뉴욕은 자유분방함 속에 조화로움과 아름다움이 있다.

과거와 현재가 공존하고, 모든 것을 있는 그대로 바라보려는 모습도 느낄수 있다.

여기는 대부분 리모델링이 이루어지지만 건물을 아예 허물고 다시 짓는 일은 별로 없다.

그래서 맨하탄에는 항상 공사중이 건물들이 너무 많지만, 

때론 그 덕분에 비를 피하기도 한다.

 

There are small fountains and small ponds here and there that can be seen 365 days a year.
Restaurants and cafeteria bars located nearby also add to the atmosphere.
Even in the evening, soft lights create a pleasant atmosphere.
As a city of art and fashion, New York has harmony and beauty in its freedom.
You can also feel that the past and the present coexist and that they try to see everything as it is.
Most of the remodeling takes place here, but it is rare for buildings to be completely demolished and rebuilt.
So there are always so many buildings under construction in Manhattan.
Sometimes, thanks to that, I can avoid the rain.

 

아직 링컨 센터에서 공연을 보지는 못했지만,

야외 풍경만으로도 충분히 공연장의 분위기를 느낄수 있는 것 같다.

오늘은 world basketball festival이 있는 날이었다.

그 옆을 지나가면서 그 분위기는 충분히 느낀듯 하다.

 

I haven't seen the performance at Lincoln Center yet,
I think you can feel the atmosphere of the concert hall just by looking at the outdoor scenery.

Today was the day of the World Basketball Festival.
I think I fully felt the atmosphere as I passed by.
