The Notebook - Musical

오늘 소개할 Broadway 뮤지컬은 영화로도 유명했던 "The Notebook"이라는 뮤지컬이다.

사실 나는 이 영화를 본 적이 없다.

스토리는 조금 알긴 하지만, 정확히 그 내용은 알지 못했다.

많은 리뷰들이 마지막에 눈물이 많이 난다고 해서 어떤 스토리 전개가 될지 매우 궁금했다.

Actually, I've never seen this movie.
I know a little bit about the story, but I don't know the exact content.

그래서 비싼 금액을 주지 않아도 좋은 뮤지컬을 반값에 혹은 그보다 저렴한 가격에도 즐길수 있다.

자석 역시 앞좌석이 매우 많다.

이 뮤지컬은 잔잔하면서도 아름다운, 그리고 한편으로는 가족적인 사랑이야기이다.

어느 노부부의 이야기, 더 이상 아름다운 과거를 기억하지 못하는, 아픈 아내의 이야기로 시작되지만,

그들의 인생이야기는 잔잔하면서도 반전을 거듭하는 스토리 전개가 정말 짜릿하다.

 

This musical is a gentle yet beautiful, and on the other hand, a family love story.
It begins with the story of an old couple, a sick wife who no longer remembers her beautiful past,
but the story of their lives is gentle yet full of twists and turns, making it really thrilling.

 

미국 특유의 유머도 이젠 조금씩 이해가 되어가는 듯 하다.

이렇게 시나브로 미국의 문화에 젖어들고 있다.

그리고 나에겐 더 없이 잘 맞는 곳이기도 하다.

미국 맨해튼에 온다면 반드시 브로드웨이 뮤지컬은 필수 코스로 보아야 할 것이다.

 

I think I'm starting to understand the unique humor of the United States.
I'm immersed in American culture like this.
And it's a place that suits me the best.
