Central Park in Summer

여름의 센트럴 파크는 또 다른 분위기가 연출된다.

센트럴 파크가 생각보다는 매우 커서 하루에 다 보기도 힘들다.

어디를 가야하는지 묻는다면 나는 당연히 Boathouse 근처를 추천하고 싶다.

Upper Manhattan 쪽도 좋지만,

나는 사람들이 붐비고 활기찬 분위기가 넘치는 Boathouse 에서 콜럼버스 써클 구간을 좋아한다.

 

Central Park in the summer has a different atmosphere.
Central Park is much bigger than you think, so it's hard to see it all in one day.
If you ask where to go, I would definitely recommend near the Boathouse.
Upper Manhattan is also good, but
I love the section from Boathouse to Columbus Circle, which is crowded and lively.

 

그림같은 이곳은 Boathouse인근이다. 

이곳을 둘러 산책을 하다보면 큼지막한 거북이들을 만날수 있다.

그냥 막 찍어도 그림처럼 사진이 나온다.

 

This picturesque place is near the Boathouse.
If you take a walk around here, you can meet large turtles.
Even if you just take a picture, the picture comes out like a painting.

 

 

맨하탄의 명물,  NYPD와 경찰 말들..

나는 42번가에만 경찰 말이 있는 줄 알았는데,

센트럴 파크에 이렇게 말들이 쉬는 곳이 있는 줄 몰랐다.

가까이 가면 경찰들이 친절하게 설명도 해준다.

보통 20년씩 함께 동고동락하기도 한다고..

 

Manhattan's specialty, NYPD and police horses...
I thought there were police horses only on 42nd Street.
I didn't know there was a place for horses to rest like this in Central Park.
When you get closer, the police will kindly provide explanations.
It is said that they usually live together for 20 years.

 

센트럴 파크는 맨하탄의 심장과 같은 역할을 한다.

많은 사람들이 휴식을 취하고, 기운을 얻고 즐길수 있는

최고의 공원이 아닌가 싶다.

 

Central Park serves as the heart of Manhattan.
A place where many people can relax, get energized and have fun
I think it's the best park.
