Central Park Zoo!

날씨가 좋아지면서 맨하탄의 중심, 뉴욕의 상징인 센트럴 파크도 자주 가보게 되는 것 같다.

공원에 가더라도 동물원 안에 들어가보지는 않았는데, 

동물원에 들어가고 싶은 생각이 들어 티켓을 구매하고 동물원으로 들어갔다. 

 

As the weather gets better, it seems like people are visiting Central Park, 

the center of Manhattan and a symbol of New York, more often.
Even though I went to the park, I never went inside the zoo.
I wanted to go to the zoo, so I bought a ticket and went into the zoo.

 

 

입구는 마치 어느 식물원과 비슷하게 꾸며져 있다.

센트럴 파크 안에 있어서 그런지 더 푸른 듯 느껴졌다.

 

The entrance is decorated to resemble a botanical garden.
Perhaps because it was in Central Park, it felt greener.

 

 

 

동물원 지도를 보면 알수 있지만, 아담한 사이즈에

그렇게 많은 동물이 있지는 않다.

그에 비하면 티켓 가격이 그렇게 싸진 않지만,

그래도 그냥 한번 쯤은 가봤다는 추억을 남길수 있지 않을까 싶다. 

 

You can tell by looking at the zoo map, but it is small in size.
There aren't that many animals.
Compared to that, the ticket price is not that cheap, but
Still, I think I can leave behind memories of having been there at least once.

 

 

원숭이, 레오파드, 곰, 레드판다 등 동물들과 

뉴욕에 엄청난 비가 왔을 때 탈출했던 바다사자,

그리고 마스코트 같은 귀여운 펭귄들이 있다. 

 

Animals such as monkeys, leopards, bears, and red pandas
The sea lion that escaped when heavy rain fell in New York,
And there are cute penguins that are like mascots.

 

센트럴 파크 자체로도 충분히 좋고 구경할 거리도 많지만,

동물원도 있다는 것,

그리고 한번 쯤 들러보는 것도 색다른 재미가 되지 않을까 싶다.

 

Central Park itself is nice enough and there are many things to see,
There is also a zoo,
And I think it would be a unique experience to stop by at least once.
