Gyeonghoeru in Fort Lee

오늘 소개할 중국 레스토랑은 1355 16th St, Fort Lee, NJ 07024에 위치한 "경회루" 이다.

한국에서 많이 들어본 듯한 이름답게,

한국식 중국 레스토랑이다.

미국에는 중국사람이 운영하는 중국음식점들이 많지만, 

역시 한국인들이 많이 찾는 곳은 한국식 중국레스토랑이 아닐까 싶다.

 

The Chinese restaurant we will introduce today is "Gyeonghoeru" located at 1355 16th St, Fort Lee, NJ 07024.
As a name that seems to be heard a lot in Korea,
It is a Korean-style Chinese restaurant.
There are many Chinese restaurants in the United States run by Chinese people.
I think the places that Koreans frequent the most are Korean-style Chinese restaurants.

 

 

 

이곳에는 특이하게 '단호박'이 들어간 짜장면이 있다.

그리고 삼겹살 김치짬뽕 등 일반 중국레스토랑에서 찾아볼 수 없는 메뉴들이다.

짜장면과 짬뽕을 다 포기할 수 없기에 짬짜면을 주문했고,

짬짜면이지만 다른 곳 보다 양이 좀 많은 느낌이었다.

포트리에는 한국음식점이 많이 있다.

이곳에도 작은 몰처럼, 바로 옆에 한인마트도 있다.

포트리에서는 한국음식점 투어를 해야할 듯 싶다. 

 

Here, there is a unique Jjajangmyeon with ‘sweet pumpkin’ in it.
And there are menu items that cannot be found in regular Chinese restaurants, such as pork belly and kimchi jjamppong.
Since I couldn't give up both Jjajangmyeon and Jjamppong, I ordered Jjamjja Noodles.
Although it was spicy noodles, it felt like the portion was a bit larger than other places.
There are many Korean restaurants in Fort Lee.
Like a small mall, there is also a Korean mart right next to this place.
I think I should do a Korean restaurant tour in Fort Lee.
